The Second International Song Festival-Competition "Golden Bird"

         On April 19-21, 2018, the Golden Bird International Song Contest for children and young people with special needs took place in Vinnitsa.

The founders and organizers of the Festival-Contest were NGO "Center for Cultural Strategy - XXI", RCCM Gallery "Art-chic", TM "RUTA", CC "Gallery - XXI", Department of Culture of Vinnytsia City Council, Department of Social and Youth Policy of Vinnytsia of the State Administration with the assistance of Mayor Sergei Morgunov, under the auspices of First Lady of Ukraine Maryna Poroshenko.

 

This social project was supported by: Foundation for Initiatives for People with Disabilities "PRO OMNIBUS" of the Republic of Poland, Diadema Company, People's Deputies of Ukraine Oleksandr Dombrovsky and Serhiy Kudlaenko, Civic activist Valery Bodnarchuk, Volodymyr Pridyaniyiv Charitable Foundation, Eparchy of Vinnytsia of Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Vinnytsia Children's Music School №1, NGO "Space of the Future", sanatorium "Podillya", Khmilnyk, TM "Avis", Vinnytsia Regional Council of Women, Vinea Wedding Salon, Touragen GOU-TRAVEL, Podillya Hotel, Lviv Candy Factory, GRACE Agency, Mille Fiori Flower Show, Harmony NGO, Art Cafe, TM Woodmaster, Gaistruk ARTS studio, Clinic "Harmony", Vinnytsia Regional Organization All-Ukrainian Organization of Disabled Persons "Union of Organizations of Disabled Persons of Ukraine".

17 contestants took part in the Festival-Competition in two age categories: 10-15 years, 16-23 years from different regions of Ukraine, in particular: Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Zakarpattia, cities - Kharkiv, Kropyvnytskyi, Vinnytsia.

 

Junior age category: Mustache Yaroslav 14 years old, Deryniuk Victoria 14 years old, Karan Alexandra 14 years old, Koza Yulia 11 years old, Opushko Tatiana, 15 years old, Okhrimenko Oleg 11 years old, Rudnytska Angelika, 11 years old, Umrikhina Vlad, 11 years old, Black Veronica, 13years, Yatsenko Danilo is 11 years old.

 

Senior age category: Barbanov sisters Yulia and Tanya 16 years old, Lavryshynets Marina 22 years old, Melnyk Darina 20 years old, Tarnavska Anastasia 16 years old, Choban Marina 16 years old and a competitor from Georgia - Turabelidze Tornike 20 years old.

The festival-competition started on April 20, 2018 at 10.00 in the premises of Vinnytsia Children's Music School # 1.

The final round (Gala - concert and awards) took place on April 21, 2018 at 4 pm at the Vinnytsia Regional Ukrainian Academic Music and Drama Theater named after MK Sadovsky.

As a result of intense vocal competition, the winner of the Grand Prix was a sixteen-year-old contestant - Tarnavska Anastasia, Derazhnya, Khmelnytsky region. First place in the senior age group was taken by - Tornike Turabelidze from Georgia (Tbilisi), 2nd place - Melnyk Darina (Kyiv region), 3rd place - Choban Maryna (Khmelnytsky region). received Vinnytsia - Opushko Tatiana, 2nd place - Black Veronica, 3rd place - Umrikhina Vlad, both girls from Kirovohrad region.

 

The winner of the Grand Prix received a cash reward of 10 thousand UAH. Contestants who won first places received a cash prize of 7 thousand hryvnias each, second places - 5 thousand hryvnias, third places - 3 thousand hryvnias. The winner and prize places were awarded with valuable statuettes from the jewelry company "Diadema" and TM "RUTA". All participants also received Diplomas, cash prizes, valuable gifts from organizers and sponsors, flowers from Mille Fiori Studio.

In addition, the managers of the PRO OMNIBUS Foundation have selected three graduates of the Festival who will attend the XXI International Song Festival for Young People with Disabilities "Chekhov Creativity Meetings", which will be held in July 2018 in Chechocinek, Poland. Appropriate certificates and invitations from the organizers of this PRO OMNIBUS Foundation for Disability Initiatives were presented to the winners.

 

The cultural program included a guided tour of the city, a preview of the performance of the Vinnytsia Musical and Drama Theater named after MK Sadovsky, a visit to the Museum of Science, the Retro Museum, the Planetarium, and in the evening after the Gala concert all participants and their accompanying guests were invited - Maryna Poroshenko at the grand opening of the ROSHEN light-music fountain and a concert featuring the stars of the country.
