The Golden Bird

for children and young people with disabilities

 

  

On May 25-27, 2016, Vinnytsia hosted the Second All-Ukrainian song festival-competition "Golden Bird" for children and young people with disabilities.

The founders and organizers of the Festival-Contest were NGO "Center for Cultural Strategy - XXI", RCCM Art-Chic Gallery, TM "RUTA", Department of Culture of Vinnytsia City Council, Department of Social and Youth Policy of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration.

     

This social project was supported by: Foundation for Initiatives for People with Disabilities "PRO OMNIBUS" of the Republic of Poland, Diadema Company, Artinov Creative Space, Vinnytsia Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church represented by Metropolitan of Vinnitsa and Bar Simeon, NGO "Vityna" Khmelnytskyi Podillya, Avis TM, Vinea Wedding Salon, Bar District Center of Social Services, GOU-TRAVEL Travel Agency, Podillya Hotel, Lviv candy store, GRACE agency, Mille Fiori Flower Salon , Harmony NGO, two printing houses. «Huss» and «Print Store Group», Vinnytsia Regional Organization All-Ukrainian Organization of Disabled Persons «Union of Disabled Persons Organizations of Ukraine».

          

19 contestants took part in the Festival-Competition in two age categories: 10-15 years, 16-23 years, from different regions of Ukraine, including Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Transcarpathian, Kirovograd, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv and the region, Kyiv, Vinnytsia region.

     

The selection round of the Festival-Competition took place on May 26, 2016 in the Creative Space "Artynov", and on May 27, 2016, a gala concert and awarding of winners took place at the Vinnytsia Regional Ukrainian Academic Music and Drama Theater named after MK Sadovsky.

     

As a result of intense vocal competition, the winner of the Grand Prix was twelve-year-old Maria Sukhanos from Kirovohrad. The first places in the junior and senior categories were given to ten-year-old Pavel Shokota from Sumy and twenty-one year old Diana Podrezenko from Poltava, respectively. Second place went to Tatiana and Yulia Barbanov for 15 years, Ivano-Frankivsk and Liliya Kruchik for 17 years, p. Lamb of the Volyn region. Third - Tatiana Opushko, 14, Vinnytsia and Maryna Lavryshynets, 20, Tyachiv, Transcarpathian region.

     

The Grand Prix winner received a cash prize of 15 thousand hryvnias, winners in age categories of 10 thousand hryvnias. In addition, all three will represent Ukraine at the XX International Song Festival for Young People with Disabilities, "Chechocin Creative Meetings", which will be held in July this year in Chechocinek, Poland. The relevant certificates and invitations from the organizers of this event, the PRO OMNIBUS Foundation for Initiatives for People with Disabilities, were presented by the Director of the Foundation, Miroslav Sator.

     

Contestants who took second place received a cash prize of 7 thousand hryvnia each, third places - 5 thousand hryvnia. All others received cash bonuses of UAH 3,000. In addition, the winner and prize places were awarded with valuable statuettes from the jewelry company "Diadem". All participants also received Diplomas, gifts from organizers and sponsors, flowers from Mille Fiori Studio.

     

The special guest of the festival is the vocal and choreographic collective "Umbrella", the youth department "Umbrella" of the Vilshan Orphanage in Transcarpathian region.

     

On May 27, the Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Vinnitsa signed an agreement "On cooperation in the field of culture and music education, as well as the exchange of young people with disabilities" between the PRO OMNIBUS Initiative Foundation in Chechocinek (Poland) and NGO Center - Kulturna strategy of the 21st century ”(Vinnitsa). The agreement was signed by the Director of the PRO OMNIBUS Initiatives Fund Myroslav Sator and Lyudmila Bushinsky - Chairman of the NGO Center for Cultural Strategy - XXI.
