The Golden Bird

for children and young people with disabilities


International song festival-competition "Golden bird" for children and youth with special needs 2017 m. Vinnitsa On April 6-8, 2017 in Vinnitsa the International song festival-competition "Golden bird" for children and youth with disabilities took place.
The founders and organizers of the Festival-Contest were NGO "Center for Cultural Strategy - XXI", RCCM Gallery "Art-chic", TM "RUTA", CC "Gallery - XXI", Department of Culture of Vinnitsa City Council, Department of Social and Youth Policy of Vinnytsia of the State Administration with the assistance of Mayor Sergei Morgunov, under the auspices of First Lady of Ukraine Maryna Poroshenko.
This social project was supported by: Foundation for Initiatives for Persons with Disabilities «PRO OMNIBUS» of the Republic of Poland, Diadema Company, Creative Space «Artynov», Member of Parliament of Ukraine Serhiy Kudlaenko, Social activist Valery Bodnarchuk, Vinnytsia Eparchy of Vinnytsia school №1, NGO "Space of the future", sanatorium "Podillya", Khmilnyk, TM "Avis", wedding salon "Vinea", travel agency "GOU-TRAVEL", hotel "Podillya", "Lviv candy", agency "GRACE" , flowers salon «Mille Fiori», NGO «Harmony», Art-k afe, TM «Olgara», TM «Woodmaster», Clinic «Harmony», Vinnitsa Regional Organization All-Ukrainian Organization of Disabled Persons «Union of Disabled Persons of Ukraine».
21 contestants took part in the Festival-Competition in two age categories: 10-15 years, 16-23 years from different regions of Ukraine, in particular: Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Transcarpathian, Kharkiv regions, cities - Lviv, Kropyvnytskyi, Sumy, Vinnytsia. 

  Junior age category: Barbanov's sisters Yulia and Tanya, 15 years old, Vusata Yaroslav, 13 years old, Karan Alexander, 13 years old, Mikhailenko Sofia, 13 years old, Odintsov Taras, 12 years old, Opushko Tatiana, 15 years old, Sokol Victoria, 11 years old, Rudnitskaya Angelika, 10 years old, Umrikhina Vlad, 11 years old, Black Veronica, 13 years old.


Senior Age: Hrytsiv Ivan, 21 years old, Lily Hook, 18 years old, Lesyuk Ivan, 23 years old, Lavrynetsyna Marina, 21 years old, Frolova Margarita, 17 years old, Perodov Ivan, 18 years old, Pribega Vladimir, 22 years old, Choban Maryna, 16 years old years. 2 contestants from the Republic of Poland - Michael Wyszniewski, 22 years old, Escaped Matilda, 17 years old.   


The composition of the jury
1. Shvets Irina - Chairman of the Jury, People's Artist of Ukraine.

2. Gorodinsky Stanislav Stanislavovich - Deputy Chairman, Head of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Vinnitsa Regional State Administration, Honored Artist of Ukraine.
3. Lyudmila Bushina - Designer of TM “RUTA”, Head of NGO “Cultural Strategy - XXI”.

4. Miroslav Sator - Director of PRO OMNIBUS Foundation of the Republic of Poland.

5. Andrzej Frandt - Artistic Director of the PRO OMNIBUS Foundation, Chairman of the Jury of the Festival "Czech Chechnya Creative Meetings", People's Artist of Poland.

6. Burdain-Public Tatiana Vasilyevna - Director of Vinnytsia Children's Music School # 1, Candidate of Arts.

7. Viktor Stepanchuk - Deputy Director of Vinnytsia Children's Music School №1, Head of NGO "Space of the Future".

8. Volodymyr Kozyuk - People's Artist of Ukraine.


The festival-competition started on April 7, 2017 at 10.00 in the premises of Vinnytsia Children's Music School # 1. 

The final round (Gala - concert and awards) took place on April 8, 2017 at 16.00 at the Vinnytsia Regional Ukrainian Academic Music and Drama Theater named after MK Sadovsky.


As a result of intense vocal competition, the winner of the Grand Prix was the twenty-two-year-old competitor of the Republic of Poland - Michael Wyszniewski. The first places in the younger age and senior categories were awarded to: thirteen-year-old Mikhailenko Sofia from Kropyvnytskyi city and twenty-one-year-old Hrytsiv Ivan from Lviv respectively. Second place went to Black Veronica, 13 years old, Alexandria and Obegal Matilda, 17 years old, Chechocinek (Poland). Third - Tatiana Opushko, 15, Vinnitsa and Margarita Frolov, 17, Borky, Kharkiv region. 

The Grand Prix winner received a cash prize of 15 thousand hryvnias, winners in the age categories of 10 thousand hryvnias. Contestants who took second place received a cash prize of 7 thousand hryvnia each, third places - 5 thousand hryvnia. In addition, the winner and prize places were awarded with valuable statuettes from the jewelry company "Diadem". All participants also received Diplomas, cash prizes, valuable gifts from organizers and sponsors, flowers from Mille Fiori Studio


In addition, the leaders of the PRO OMNIBUS Foundation have selected three graduates of the Festival who will represent Ukraine at the XXI International Song Festival for Young People with Disabilities, "Chechocin Creative Meetings", which will be held in July 2017 in Chechocinek, Poland. The corresponding certificates and invitations from the organizers of the PRO OMNIBUS Foundation for Initiatives for Disabilities Initiative were presented by the Foundation's Director Miroslav Sator and artistic director of the Foundation, People's Artist of the Republic of Poland - Andrzej Fradt. 


The cultural program included a guided tour of the city, a revision of the performance of the Vinnytsia Musical and Drama Theater named after MK Sadovsky, "Izanami, the Goddess Who Invites", a visit to the Museum of the Estate of MI Pirogov. 

In addition to the finalists and laureates of the competition, the winner of the XX International Song Festival for Youth with Disabilities "Czech Chechnya Creative Meetings" of the Republic of Poland - Mateusz Wysznowski participated in the festive gala concert.


Performed by Maria Sukhanos - winner of the All-Ukrainian song festival-competition "Golden Bird" in 2016, read poems by Darya Mudryk, demonstrated their mastery of vocal collective "Colors" of Lyceum School # 7, dance collective "Nika" under the direction of Olga Kalinticheva "Radushka" with the song "Return" under the direction of Elena Philip. 

 Special guest of the festival was the finalist of the project "Ukraine has a talent" Snizhana Zhao with choreographic composition.
